your design concept is nice as usual :) . but again, i find it a bit odd. shouldn't the address bar always be always visible, so the user always knows on what site he actually is?

Well no, if you're on fullscreen you don't have the address bar either. Plus, if you enter a site you obviously know where' you're headed ;) This is just to generate more space.

yeah, but in android stock browser, if we tap a link, it'll temporarily show the address bar, won't it? ;)

Also, there are fake sites that contain a login platform similiar to the real site, that can steal the information of user's ID and password. If the address bar isn't visible, it'll be dangerous to the user.

I think I am over-concerned about it :P

Well all you gotta do is swipe down, so :P For my personal preference I don't think it's necessary for the bar to be there.

I think it's very handy! I find it very annoying that the adress bar is always there. Especially when I'm reading something. This would be awesome!

Eye catching minimal look, no doubt.
But people tend to forget user friendly environment. There should be enough free space around every object and objects should be big enough to avoid tap errors.

I personally get frustrated with things like that and that's the reason why i hardly use internet on my mobile.

Thank you! About the spacing, it's actually the right spacing, I mean I made a screenshot of the original browser and aligned the icons accordingly. But yes you're right, I have the same issue by accidentally tapping on something else because it's just so close. With the concept I wanted to follow a bit of the Android guidelines since I don't want to drive away completely from it.

And that's why I love Chrome feature on Android. If you tap between two links it zooms to them and let you select again. Too bad that it's not so fast on Nexus S ;)

About the concept - I'm looking forward to see some parts of your whole Android 5 concepts in actual newest Android. You should try to contact with Roman Nurik.
